Sunday fast story
It was the rule of an old lady that every Sunday in the morning after taking bath etc., she used to eat food after offering Bhog to God. By doing this, he always had God’s grace. He was living his life happily and there was no shortage of anything in his house. Seeing him happy in every way, his neighbor started jealous of him. She thought that she takes my cow dung and takes home from it and worships God and offers God. Therefore, he should not give his own cow dung. Thinking so, he started tying his cow inside the house. Due to which the old woman could neither leave the house on Sunday, nor did she prepare food and offer it to Lord Shri Hari and thus the fasting became a night and she fell asleep thirsty. On this, Lord Shri Hari appeared to him in his dream at night and asked him the reason for not offering Bhog today. Then the old lady narrated the story of not getting cow dung from God. Then Lord Shri Hari said- ‘ Mother, nothing to worry. I give you such a cow which is the fulfiller of all desires. I am very happy on you who every Sunday by smearing your house with cow dung and preparing holy food and offering it to me. In this way, I give desired results to the one who observes the Sunday fast. I remove the sorrows of the afflicted and give salvation in the last moment. In a dream, Lord Shri Hari became engrossed by donating to that old lady, and when this old woman got up early in the morning, what does she see that a beautiful cow is tied in the courtyard of her house. And with him a calf of white color is also standing. The old lady tied the cow and the calf outside her main gate. When her neighbor saw a very beautiful cow and a calf outside her house, she was furious with jealousy and when she saw that the cow had dung of gold, she took that cow dung and put another cow dung in its place. And The old lady did not know anything about this act of hers. When Lord Shri Hari saw that my devotee was being cheated in this way, then God caused a strong storm on that day in the evening. Due to which the old lady tied that cow inside her house. In the morning when the old woman saw that the cow had dung of gold, she was astonished and started thanking the Lord again and again for her grace. On the other hand, when the neighbor stopped getting gold dung, he went to the king and told him Due to which the old lady tied that cow inside her house. In the morning when the old woman saw that the cow had dung of gold, she was astonished and started thanking the Lord again and again for her grace. On the other hand, when the neighbor stopped getting gold dung, he went to the king and told him Due to which the old lady tied that cow inside her house. In the morning when the old woman saw that the cow had dung of gold, she was astonished and started thanking the Lord again and again for her grace. On the other hand, when the neighbor stopped getting gold dung, he went to the king and told him.
‘King ! An old lady lives in our neighbourhood. She has a cow which deserves to live in your palace because she dung of gold every day. With that gold you can run many works of the state. Why does the old lady need so much gold?
Hearing this from the old lady’s neighbor, the king ordered his soldiers to forcefully untie the cow from the old woman’s house. The soldiers reached the old woman’s house and forcefully brought the cow open. The king got the cow in his palace and arranged for his protection by the soldiers and said that no one can lift this cow’s dung without my permission. The king could not sleep in the night of happiness. In the morning when he went to the room where the cow was tied with the hope of seeing the gold dung, what did he see that the whole room was getting dirty badly with the dung. Seeing that there was no limit to the anger of the king and ordered his soldiers to call the old woman, the soldiers went to Buddha’s house and told him the king’s order. Then the old lady asked –
‘Brother! Yesterday, Maharaj had forcibly opened my cow, what is the order for me today?
After this, the king, who reached the king with the soldiers, said to her- ‘Mother, I had heard that your cow dung gold, but now I see that all this is a lie, what is this story? Tell me .’
The old man said- ‘Maharaj! My rule is that I wake up early in the morning on Sunday and after taking bath etc., prepare Chauka Lop food with cow dung. Then after offering food to God, I eat my own food because by doing this God is pleased and all wishes are fulfilled. Wealth to the poor and sons to barren women, removes the sorrows of the miserable and gives salvation in the last time. One day my neighbor stopped giving me her cow dung so that I could not leap to my house and neither did I prepare food nor offered it to Magwan nor did I eat food myself and thus I was hungry and thirsty at night. She just fell asleep God was pleased with me and appeared to me in a dream. When I woke up in the morning, this cow, which gives gold dung, was tied at the door of my house. But my neighbor informed you out of jealousy and due to this the cow reached your palace.
After listening to the whole story, the king gave his cow to the old lady, a devotee of God, and respected her immensely and called her neighbor and punished her appropriately. He thrashed the drums in the city that everyone should observe a fast on Sundays.
